Coming Up On Enough

I’ve been having a problem with Verizon. I’ve had a problem with Verizon ever since they spied on me unconstitutionally under George Bush then got off the hook after he applied the Patriot Act retroactively.

But my newest problem is that they failed to register my payment by check – cashed by them Nov. 2 – and seven days later, they cut off my wife’s TV. It was next to impossible to speak to a human being. They bug you with sign-in requirements in order for you to text back and forth with an AI.

Meanwhile, my dear sister, Nan, to whom I provided a phone, stopped in to the Verizon store in Vero Beach, FL, simply to get her phone adjusted. They sold her $1500 worth of new equipment, despite the fact that I’m the only one on the account authorized to make purchases.

The morning after this latest infraction, I woke up with an insight. I am the customer here and I buy thousands of dollars a year in services from Verizon. I’m old enough to remember when vendors were accountable to their customers. What’s changed? What’s going on here?

And then I started thinking about the abuse – how the government abuses us, and how the big corporations have joined in the abuse. The leadership hierarchy of our corporatocracy has decided to abuse the people, and no one is standing up to it! I understand. The leadership hierarchies of nations have been refining their control of the led for thousands of years. But now, with their increased understanding of psychology and mass communication technology, they’re running amok! They’ve bloody mastered acculturation!

And what is acculturation? Most basically, acculturation is control by psychological abuse. The great sociobiologist, E.O. Wilson tells us civilization is based on tribalism, and that there are three things individuals have to agree to if they’re to be granted membership in a tribe.

  • First, they have to accept the tribe’s origination myth.
  • Second, they have to accept the authority of the tribe’s leadership.
  • And last, they have to agree to discriminate against outsiders.

The tribes demand that members believe nonsense, subordinate themselves to a more privileged class, and discriminate against a less privileged class. A spade, a spade – that is psychological abuse.  Incidentally, Wilson also said that if humankind doesn’t end tribalism, tribalism is going to end humankind.

Psychological abuse. As in brainwashing, gaslighting, trauma bonding, double binding, and Stockholm syndrome? Be clear: the ruling class has mastered all of these and countless other techniques to keep us under control.

You doubt me? Just consider the CIA activities we’ve uncovered since its formation 73 years ago. Operation Paperclip, in which they brought Nazi experts on torture and mind control over to work for the US after WWII? Operation Gladio, in which they undertook terrorist activities and murdered our European allies in order to stir up anti-Communist sentiment? Operation Mockingbird, in which they bribed journalists to spew their propaganda?

And Russia and China? They’ve got people to manage, as well. The point is, from the camps of WWII, to our recent election, the ruling classes of the developed world have spent untold billions on researching and experimenting with various forms of citizenry control.

How about MKUltra, in which they drugged, tortured, and killed innocent victims in an effort to find out how to control individuals to follow their commands, including to assassinate? How about the Phoenix Program, first used in Vietnam, but then in later iterations, in other independent nations including, as Doug Valentine tells us, our supposed democracy? (See Valentine’s terrific books, “The Phoenix Program: America’s Use of Terror in Vietnam” and “The CIA as Organized Crime: How Illegal Operations Corrupt America and the World”.)

In his great book, “Killing Hope: U.S. Military and CIA Interventions since World War II,” William Blum goes into great detail about 56 interventions over the 79 years between 1945 and 2004.

And Valentine and Blum are only talking about the US. Consider the ruling classes of our allies – Israel with its Mossad, France with its Sûreté, and England with MI-6. And Russia and China? They’ve got people to manage, as well. The point is, from the camps of WWII, to our recent election, the ruling classes of the developed world have spent untold billions on researching and experimenting with various forms of citizenry control.

Okay, here’s the deal, to quote our new President. Everything I’ve said is academic fluff. Let’s look at where the rubber meets the road. Let’s look at the specific ways your ruling class is conspiring with the MSM – against our constitution, to mess with you, right here and now.

Take your smart device and Google, for instance. Recall brainwashing, gaslighting, trauma bonding, double bind, and Stockholm syndrome? All I want you to do is get a sense of what those acts are, what they entail, what kind of people perpetrate them on others, and how these acts affect their victims. If you’re anything other than a white guy, you’ll probably recognize much of what’s happened and is happening.

When you’ve done that, I want you adopt a clinical perspective, turn on your TV, and notice what’s being presented to you, how it’s being done, what kind of people are doing it, and the effect it’s having on you.

Let me end with a Zen teaching story about dealing with double and triple binds.

A Zen master comes into class with a stick and says to his students, “If you say this stick is real, I will beat you with it. If you say the stick is not real, I will beat you with it. If you say nothing, I will beat you. What are you to do?” After a long, silent pause, one student stood up, went up to the teacher, took the stick from him, and broke it over his knee.

You cannot negotiate with a psychopath. We cannot negotiate with these psychopaths. Pass this on and stay in touch. Because we’re coming up on enough.
